Whether you have been a Christian all your life, or have yet to make that committment - the following is a confession that is suited for all of us. Sometimes we have to be like David - and rise up and encourage ourselves. I pray that you will use this confession as a model - every day. Father, it says in Your word that if I confess with my mouth and believe in my heart that Jesus Christ is the risen Son of God, that I shall be saved. So I confess with my mouth and believe in my heart that Jesus Christ is the Sond of God. He was born of a virgin, crucified and rose again on the third day. I believe that by His sacrifice, I have been redeemed back unto my heavenly Father. I thank you Lord, for paying the price that I could not. I present my body as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable; this is my reasonable service.
I will dwell in the secret place of the most High, and I will abide in the shadow of the Almighty; for he is my refuge and fortress - I will trust him.
He is my provider - I will not be tormented by the destructive spirit of worry.
He is my Healer - by his stripes I have been healed of all my inquities and diseases.
He is my avenger - I have been given power to tread on scorpions and serpents. No weapon formed against me shall prosper, Satan you are a defeated foe.
I put on the whole armor of God, and I do stand my ground.
I have on the belt of truth buckled around my waist. The truth of God has set me free.
I have on the breast plate of righteousness and my feet are shod with the prepreation of the gospel of peace.
I take the shield of faith and I quench every fiery dart of the devil.
I put on the helmet of Salvation - for I have the mind of Christ.
I take the the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God and I pierce through the enemies plan. For I have power over the devil.
For Thine is the Kingdom, Power and GLory. Amen! |
